The Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Program at Fitzroy North Primary School has been developed to provide families with child care services outside of the normal school hours. Our program is designed with working and studying families within the school community in mind, ensuring parents and guardians can continue to work or study knowing their children are in a safe environment.
We offer Before School and After School Programs and bookings can be made on a permanent or casual basis. Our program ensures children participate in a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities designed to suit the needs of the individual child. Our aim is to provide a safe environment for children to learn through play, interaction, relaxation, acquiring new skills and gaining a strong sense of identity. The FNPS OSHC Program is a great way for children to build strong relationships with friends, unwind after a long day at school and have fun.
Our Program is fully registered under the National Child Care Accreditation and registered for the Child Care Benefit.
Before School Care
Breakfast is served every morning for children who arrive to the program prior to 8.25am. Cereal, toast, crumpets, muffins, and fruits are available every day. Children are able to play outside and inside during this time. All children are dismissed from the program at 8.45am. Prep children during first term are taken to the yard duty teacher.
After School Care
Children are provided with afternoon tea. Our menu consists of a variety of sandwiches and fruit on a daily basis. We serve an additional light snack at 5.00pm consisting of fruit, vegetables & crackers (we can cater for all dietary requirements). Children have the option to participate in planned activities, join weekly clubs or have free play.
All families must be registered to attend our service. Please download our enrolment form or, alternatively, you can pick up an enrolment form from the OSHC or School Front Office. Bookings can be made via email, phone or in person with any of our friendly Educators.
